Wholesale platform JOOR has released its latest bi-annual shoppable women’s trend report for spring 2025. It features insights from the runways of its client base of luxury brands that showed their collections at the Big Four fashion weeks recently.

Brands it has drawn on include Loewe, JW Anderson, Simone Rocha, Chloé, Khaite, Vivienne Westwood, Isabel Marant, Victoria Beckham and Dries Van Noten, among others, while it has then matched the trends with relevant styles from JOOR’s wider ecosystem of fashion brands.

The shoppable report has just debuted on JOOR Passport and features six key trends for SS25 including Pretty Pastels, Sheer Elegance, Bold Black & White, Sculptural Silhouettes, Fringe Benefits and Micro Minis.

Pretty pastels means a “departure from the vivid hues of previous seasons [as] soft pastel shades have reemerged with designers like Nina Ricci and Erdem leading the way. Incorporating these delicate colours into a wardrobe is easy and can be achieved with one statement piece or by mixing separates in complementary tones”.

Sheer Elegance “first emerged a few seasons ago and is showing no sign of slowing down, with fashion brands including Simone Rocha, Khaite and Victoria Beckham all choosing the allure of translucent fabrics. Now designers are leaning into the elegant nature of transparency, creating styles that would be suited to formal occasions”.

Bold Black & White “comes in the form of stripes, prints or two-tone garments” that “add a sense of boldness to any ensemble”.

Sculptural Silhouettes brings “new meaning to the phrase ‘wearable art’. From exaggerated shoulders to spaceship-like hems that jut out at the hips, this is the expression of personality and structure in style”.

Fringe Benefits features Western-inspired embellishment or a more modern take on shredded fabric top to “add an element of drama to silhouettes”.

And finally, Micro Minis sees the skirt trend extending into mini dresses, “offering a more grown-up allure”. JOOR said “hemlines are the shortest they have ever been, and this combination of seduction and playfulness makes this trend a go-to choice for those who like to have fun with their style”. Mini hems can be finished with ruffles or feathers.
