Just Cavalli Spring 2025 Ready to Wear Collection Review

It seems that Daniele Lombardo doesn’t want brat season to be over just yet, judging by his latest effort for Just Cavalli.

For spring 2025, he channeled the unapologetic attitude evoked by the term that has dominated pop culture over the past few months, but via the label’s signature use of animal prints and bold patterns, going way beyond the neon green hue associated with the trend.

With his freewheeling and over-the-top approach, Lombardo developed the lineup around a narrative imagining the vibes of the Burning Man festival transplanted in the French Riviera. As result, a wild energy and clash of aesthetics — ranging from streetwear for him to the glam and seductive for her — defined the collection, which continued to build on the designer’s mission to engage Gen-Zers.

Leopard spots in different iterations and colors covered everything from ruffled frocks to body-con dresses, from fluid pajamas to tiny bikinis. The pattern was also combined with a hand-drawn flower motif and colorblocking in flashy tracksuits with an ‘80s flavor, while elsewhere the sporty side of the collection was tempered via see-through fabrics, as seen in laced cycling pants paired with logoed sweatshirts.

Adding to the animal theme, zebra stripes appeared in a new version in tie-dye looks; python patterns were splashed over tank tops and miniskirts in lightweight materials, and a jungle illustration popped up on polos and bowling shirts. A plethora of jersey and denim separates in different washes offered more wearable options and balanced the eccentric numbers, including a multicolor and multipatterned evening dress that was hard to miss.

Almost aware that the collection was a lot to take in, Lombardo showed a heightened focus on accessories this season, with handbags rendered in the same motifs and palette offering a more approachable entry to the brand’s aesthetic for the targeted audience.
