Kavya stole the show as her expression of disbelief when she realised that Sunil Narine had survived as the ball had pitched outside the leg-stump.
Ahmedabad: SRH CEO Kavya Maran is someone who has become very passionate about her team and is a regular at venues where the Sunrisers play. Tuesday was no different as she was there at the Narendra Modi stadium rooting for the Orange Army as they took on the Knight Riders in IPL 2024 Qualifier 1. Despite the poor show from Sunrisers, Kavya stole the show as her expression of disbelief when she realised that Sunil Narine had survived as the ball had pitched outside the leg-stump.
The incident took place in the fourth over when Bhuvneshwar Kumar was bowling. Kavya’s expression literally summed up the mood of the team.
Here is how fans are reacting to it:

Earlier in the day, Mitchell Starc took charge with the ball after Hyderabad opted to bat first. Starc picked up three wickets, but more importantly removed in-form Travis Head in the first over itself. Abhishek Sharma, the other in-form opener, also did not get among the runs and that hurt the Sunrisers franchise.
