Kendall Jenner and Alexander Skarsgård are featured in the new installments of the fall Calvin Klein campaigns.
Mert Alas directed and photographed Jenner and Skarsgård for the womenswear and menswear campaigns, respectively. Emanuelle Alt styled both ad campaigns.
The womenswear campaign depicts the 28-year-old Jenner bringing new energy to a day off in Calvin Klein apparel, including Calvin Klein Studio, the brand’s new assortment of elevated essentials. She is styled in city-inspired apparel as she walks the beach: leather with lace, outerwear as a full look and pairing underwear with tailoring.
“I’ve been a part of the Calvin Klein family for nearly a decade, but I still get so excited to work with the team for each campaign,” said Jenner, who began modeling in a Calvin Klein jeans campaign in 2015. “This time around, I wore some of Calvin’s most iconic pieces like the slipdress and overcoat, so I was able to tap into that classic sensuality that they are known for.”
The menswear campaign gives a playful glimpse into Skarsgård’s life, energized by Calvin Klein apparel, including Calvin Klein Studio. The 48-year-old Swedish actor, who has appeared in such TV shows as “Big Little Lies,” “Succession,” “Generation Kill,” and “True Blood,” is shown wearing the smooth outerwear, easy seasonal layers and monochromatic tailoring of classic Calvin Klein menswear.
“It was wonderful to reunite with the Calvin Klein team for this campaign,” said Skarsgård. “There was such a great energy during the shoot. I’ve worked with Mert and his team a couple of times before and it’s always a blast. I loved the styling — it felt sophisticated and sleek, but still very relaxed and playful.”
Both campaigns launch globally Wednesday with content featuring both Jenner and Skarsgård on Calvin Klein social channels throughout the week. The campaigns will also appear on high-impact out-of-home placements around the globe.
Last week Jeremy Allen White, the actor best known for his Emmy Award-winning role as chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in the comedy-drama series “The Bear,” returned for his second Calvin Klein denim and underwear campaign.
