Recently, the Kia Sonet facelift has been spotted testing on the Airport Road, Bengaluru. The spy shots reveal new details of the upcoming Sonet SUV, which is expected to launch in December 2023.

The teaser images show that the partially camouflaged Kia Sonet facelift will receive a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels, a shark-fin antenna and a high-mounted stop lamp. The rear of the SUV provided a peek at the all-new LED tail lamps with LED inserts, which look similar to the Kia Seltos facelift.
Kia Sonet facelift: Features
Moving on to the inside, the Kia Sonet facelift is likely to receive ADAS features, like the recently launched 2023 Kia Seltos. Other key interior features will be new upholstery, a digital instrument cluster and a dashcam.
The current-gen Kia Sonet facelift comes equipped with ventilated front seats, wireless charging, a single-pane sunroof, automatic LED headlamps, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control and automatic climate control with rear AC vents. The safety suite of the current-gen Sonet SUV consists of four airbags, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and seat-belt reminders and three-point seatbelts for all seats.

In terms of engine, the Kia Sonet facelift is expected to come equipped with the same 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The Kia Sonet facelift will rival the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue and Nissan Magnite in the Indian market once launched.
