KidSuper Launches Record Division, First Single Released

Colm Dillane is expanding his brand again.

The founder and designer of the KidSuper fashion label is launching KidSuper Records, marking the company’s entry into the music business.

The label’s first release is the single “Big in Da Game” featuring U.K. rap artist Giggs and Atlanta hip-hop artist Quavo. The song made its debut at the KidSuper fall 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week where Giggs premiered the track. Quavo, who attended the show and performed at the after party, later added a verse to the tune.

An accompanying music video features both artists along with Dillane, all of them wearing pieces from the fall collection. The video was directed and produced by KidSuper Studios.

Music has always been a big part of the KidSuper universe. Since the brand’s launch, Dillane has collaborated with artists ranging from The Rolling Stones and Elton John to Joey Bada$$. His runway shows have often featured original music and the company has provided free recording space to artists, hosted release parties and pop-up events and dressed musicians for tours and award shows.

“Since Day One, music has always been an integral part of KidSuper,” said Dillane, “from housing artists, to making album art, merch collaborations, hosting pop-ups and more. KidSuper Records was always a pipe dream…we even made merch for it before it existed. And it’s crazy to think that something that started as an idea over 10 years ago has evolved into a real song, debuted at Paris Fashion Week, with Giggs and Quavo, out on our very own record label. Wild.”

Giggs added: “Really excited to share with the world this cool collaboration, blending different worlds: Fashion. Hip-hop. U.K. rappers. U.S. rappers.”

Dillane said KidSuper Records will release additional music in the future.
