Kim Kardashian put a sultry spin on minimalism while appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday in New York. The Skims founder stopped by to promote her new collaboration with Beats by Dre.
Kardashian selected a white cutout Grace Ling dress, pairing it with high-heeled PVC mules by Paris Texas. Hairdresser Chris Appleton styled her dark tresses in waves, while makeup artist Ariel Tejada gave her brown eye shadow, a pop of pink blush and a nude lip.
Sitting down with host Fallon, Kardashian spoke about the success of her clothing brand, Skims. The company is now valued at $4 billion and an IPO is in the works.
“Of course you start something and then you hope that it does really well,” she said. “I knew I made it when I walked into a dinner and this Oscar-winning actress pulls up her shirt and is like, ‘I’m wearing a Skims bra.’”
The entrepreneur also discussed her dating life, and while she currently isn’t seeing anyone, Kardashian explained that her children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, are looking for her next match.
“It’s so funny because my kids try to set me up,” she said. “They’re so particular. They make lists. Saint wants me to be with any basketball player or soccer player, and I’m like, ‘If you only knew.’”
Finally, Kardashian revealed her Beats by Dre collection, starring in a campaign that also features Fallon. In a short video spot, the duo competes for the best headphones collaboration, with Kardashian coming out on top. The Beats Studio Pro x Kim capsule includes three neutral shades ($350 each) of the brand’s bestselling over-ear model.
Following her appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Kardashian changed into a leather Miu Miu bandana top from the label’s spring 2024 collection — a clear nod to Fallon’s parody Beats proposal, a set of mustard yellow headphones. The reality star added on a pair of tan suede flares and a matching Hermès Birkin.
