The Vande Bharat Sleeper train may begin its commercial run very soon. The sleeper train will reach the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) from the BEML facility on Thursday, if sources in Railways are to be believed. The ICF will conduct an oscillation trial to check the different parameters of the train. Stability trial, Speed trail will also be conducted before launching its commercial run for the public.

As per reports, the railways may start commercial run of Vande Bharat sleeper trains from December. The trail run will start in the next few days. The route of the first sleeper train will be decided by the authorities soon, but sources say that the first commercial run will be started from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru cities. The authorities will soon take a decision in this regard.

Union Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw already stated that the fare of Vande Bharat sleeper trains will be similar to Rajdhani Express. The sleeper train will have all modern amenities like USB charging, unified reading light, visual information system, inside display panel, security cameras and modular pantry. Berths and separate toilets have been provided for Divyangs. For First AC passengers, the Railways will ensure hot water for showers.

The railway minister said the Vande Bharat sleeper train will run at the speed of 160 km/hour and it may touch the speed of 180 km/hour. The train will have 16 coaches that include 11 AC-3 tier, 4 AC-two tier and one AC-first class. The train will have an accommodation of a total 823 passengers.

The railway minister also added that along with passenger safety, amenities for loco pilots and attendants have also been taken into consideration.
