Located at 321 Little Bourke Street, the 140 square meter store features a design that embodies Ksubi’s ethos of “luxe-rebellion.” Crafted by the AZBCreative team, the store’s aesthetic marries raw industrial features with sophisticated design touches. Metres of patent silver drapery and innovative floating hanging rails add a contemporary edge to the space.

To mark the opening, Ksubi has collaborated with local artist Mayonaize on a limited-edition Melbourne city tee featuring Mayonaize’s distinctive calligraphy, celebrating the city’s dynamic street-art scene. Ksubi has also arranged for local DJs to perform every weekend from 3pm to 6pm, immersing shoppers in the brand’s creative community.

“In presenting the new frontier of the iconic Ksubi brand, we did a deep dive into materiality, ensuring everything resonates with the rebellious nature of Ksubi. This space embodies an edge and a narrative,” said Alex Zabotto-Bentley, design director, AZBCreative.

“From stripping everything back to its barest bones and adding meaningful and sophisticated elements, Ksubi Melbourne communicates refinement alongside rawness, creativity and passion. We are thrilled to present Ksubi in their own Melbourne store on Little Bourke Street.”

The new store joins Ksubi’s international flagship locations in cities like New York, Los Angeles, London, Miami, and Chicago. Stockists include high-end retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, SSENSE, Kith, and Browns, while its following includes celebrities like Travis Scott and Kendall Jenner.

“In recent years we have been focused on solidifying our brand internationally – opening stores in Miami, Chicago and on Carnaby Street in London. 2024 was designated the year to bring the energy and passion that we have fostered overseas back to Oz,” said Craig King, CEO of Ksubi.

“There’s no better place to begin that journey than the home of fashion, Melbourne. Lt Bourke St is the first of our permanent flagships in Australia and we are very excited to bring our version of fashion and good times to the precinct.”

Looking ahead, the Melbourne flagship will also serve as the exclusive launch venue for the Ksubi x Patty Mills collection on June 25.
