The event, which is the primary fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, has a number of big star names on the nominee list including Daniel Lee for Burberry, Jonathan Anderson for JW Anderson and Loewe, Matthieu Blazy for Bottega Veneta, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons for Prada, and Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

The BFC also announced the nominees for another key title, the BFC Foundation Award. Given that this is the 30th year of BFC NewGen, the shortlist is focused on this initiative and includes Aaron Esh, Chet Lo, Conner Ives, Paolo Carzana, and Sinéad O’Dwyer.

The body had previously announced that Charlotte Tilbury and Sarah Mower will receive Special Recognition Awards and that this year’s Outstanding Achievement title will go to Valentino Garavani.

It also said in September that British Womenswear Designer of the Year nominees include Erdem Moralıoğlu for Erdem, Maximilian Davis for Ferragamo, Nensi Dojaka, Roksanda Ilinčić for Roksanda, and Simone Rocha.

And British Menswear Designer of the Year nominees are Grace Wales Bonner for Wales Bonner, Kiko Kostadinov, Kim Jones for Dior Men, Martine Rose, and Steven Stokey-Daley for SS Daley.
