Drawing inspiration from the iconic Paula’s boutique in Ibiza, synonymous with the countercultural movement of the 1970s and a testament to island life, the collection showcases feminine pieces adorned with archive scarf prints from the brand, alongside crop tops and ruffled miniskirts with asymmetric hems that evoke a sense of graceful movement. In the men’s domain, prints take center stage, adorning oversized shirts and loose-fitting “west coast” style shorts, as underscored by the brand in an official statement.

“The collection boasts the mesmerizing and vibrant prints crafted by artist Douglas Abraham, featuring abstract motifs of dice, teddy bears, and planets adorning t-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts, and swimwear,” Loewe highlighted.

The selection of accessories in this Paula’s Ibiza release once again delves into the realm of basketry with Loewe’s signature flair, presenting a fresh interpretation of woven raffia for the Puzzle and Puzzle Fold bags, while also embracing leather, as exemplified by the Flamenco Bucket model. Leather accessories embellished with tropical fruits and raffia designs inspired by fauna embody the whimsical essence that Loewe infuses into this offering.

Espadrilles and lightweight sandals grace the footwear selection, alongside rugged cowboy boots and sleek low-top sneakers. Completing the ensemble are the Sporty Mask sunglasses, crafted from acetate, representing the latest addition to Loewe’s eyewear repertoire.

The campaign unveiling Loewe’s Paula’s Ibiza collection, lensed by Gray Sorrenti, showcases a diverse cast of individuals from the music and art realms, all esteemed friends of the brand. “The subjects are captured in candid moments: lounging on a sprawling carpet, nestled amongst cushions, or engaging with nature,” the brand elaborated.

The campaign ensemble features luminaries such as Latin trap sensation Young Miko, American rapper and composer Kevin Abstract, Loewe’s global ambassador and NCT K-pop group luminary Taeyong, American artist and songstress Yebba Smith, American composer and vocalist 070 Shake, and Irish actress Alison Oliver. “The diverse array of personalities mirrors the inclusive ethos embodied by Paula,” the brand added.

Furthermore, Loewe underscored its commitment to social responsibility by pledging a donation to local communities for each basket sold. These contributions will support initiatives including a university scholarship program in Colombia, the establishment of an artisanal training facility in Madagascar, and humanitarian aid efforts in the aftermath of the 2023 earthquake in Morocco.
