Loro Piana Spring 2025 Ready to Wear Runway, Fashion Show & Collection Review

The ongoing fashion marathon has been proving that the world is ready to finally leave the quiet luxury days behind and surf a bolder, maximalist wave. Not Loro Piana, one of the pioneers of the trend.

For spring 2025, the company switched its focus from cashmere to linen, crowned as the noble fiber of the season. It was celebrated with an immersive installation at Palazzo Belgioioso, which showcased impressive artworks by Adriana Meunié featuring raw linen fibers and its flowers next to a sophisticated collection exploring the material in all its potential and further building on Loro Piana’s ever-growing offering.

Working with different blends of linen with silk, cashmere and wool, the design team cut relaxed, elongated silhouettes that ranged from soft tailoring and outdoorsy-inspired jackets to fluid blouses and pleated skirts matched for everyday elegance.

Linen bouclé pieces and a fire red look in linen and cashmere pairing a cropped jacket with a knee-length skirt continued to build on the ladylike attitude the brand introduced last season, while a more casual vibe was channeled via shirts and Bermuda shorts cut in the softest suede. Eveningwear also kept striking the balance between sparkly embellishments and fluid, easy shapes, as seen in a floor-skimming dress with an old-Hollywood cinematic effect.

Even in its most eccentric expressions, the lineup was ultra-refined, details impeccable and experimentation top notch, as seen in crochet separates that included fibers of Abaca, a material deriving from banana leaf, and that added to the tactile richness of the collection.

The same sense of ease and refinement ran through menswear, where the vest was turned into a wardrobe essential to build layered looks, second only to textured cardigans that imbued a more casual feel into the lineup. This was reinforced by a sporty mood and nautical reference conveyed through anoraks and roomy denim pieces. Further targeting the en-plein-air moments, the brand also unveiled a range of sunglasses crafted in Japan and named after Loro Piana iconic garments.
