Lululemon steps up its game and launches shoes for men and women in Australia

It’s the Canadian athleisure brand that boasts fans the world over for its super comfy, ultra-flattering yoga tights, tanks and sports bras.

And now, Lululemon have taken their extensive research and development into the footwear game, launching trainers for men and women in Australia this week.

The exciting new range comprises five different styles of shoe for all sorts of activities including running, commuting or day-to-day wear, workouts at the gym, post-workout gear and a shoe that does it all.

All five styles are available for women, while there are three on sale for men.

Being an avid runner, my pick of the lineup is the gorgeous Beyondfeel Women’s Running Shoe ($249).

This shoe prioritises cushioning, and comfort underfoot, as well as a seamless mesh upper that provides ventilation, stretch, and support where you need it.

I love that the Beyondfeel shoes are an everyday supportive shoe that are as good for road running as they are running errands.

The $249 shoes are available in a number of colours for women, including pink, tan and lime, black and white and peach and espresso.

They’re not the only great option in the lineup either.

I also love the look of the Cityverse Women’s Sneaker ($219), which has been designed as an “everyday sneaker” for doing everything you might need them to do, whether that’s shopping, walking or just running around.

Layers of contoured cushioning create the perfect balance of comfort and support, while there is also a material upper with two different lace options that let you customise the look.

Finally, there’s the Restfeel Women’s Slide ($89), which are perfect for “soothing your feet post-workout” and the ideal option to slip into after a Pilates or yoga class.
