I love everything about autumn, from throwing a nice big sweater over a pair of jeans with some boots to closing the blinds and nestling down on the sofa at the end of a long day with a book.
I particularly love autumn activewear.
Whether it’s thermal leggings, cropped sweatshirts, trench coats or puffer jackets, there’s nothing more satisyfying that layering the perfect autumn activewear outfit for a walk or a run.

And my pick of this season’s crop is one hundred per cent from lululemon.
The Canadian store — famous for its buttery-soft tights — has this month launched an extensive “autumn cosy” range comprising jackets, jumpers, vests and loungewear.
My standout piece from the new range is the Always There Trench Coat ($329), which is available in Bone or Dark Olive.
The stylish coat could just as easily be worn for dinner reservations as it could downpours, thanks to its removable hood, stylish cut and dramatic length.
I also love that it’s waterproof, windproof and seam-sealed to keep you dry while still being breathable.
I also adore the Contrast Fleece Mockneck Half Zip, $189, which is made from plush warm fabrics that you’ll want to burrow into.
I’d look to pair this with a long-sleeved top, leggings and long socks for a cool activewear look that’s perfect for a walk and brunch.
The $189 Ribbed Softstreme Mid-Rise Pants come with rave reviews from shoppers who love their “peach fuzz touch”.
“Perfect casual pants if you can still find a pair. Loose fit is very stylish and accommodating. Pairs with everything and super comfy,” one woman wrote of the pants.
“These are comfy, beautiful and versatile. You can dress them up or down, so happy with the purchase. They fit true to size,” another added.
The best-selling Everywhere Belt Bag ($69) in Fleece is another great option if you’re looking for a small pop of autumn in your wardrobe.
Finally, I couldn’t write about lululemon’s autumn cosy range without mentioning the best-selling “Wunder Puff” jackets which literally fly off the shelves every winter.
Essentially an extremely lightweight down puffer jacket, the “Wunderpuff” jacket promises to keep you looking stylish as well as feeling warm all winter long.
It’s so popular that global shoppers describe it as the “one thing you need” when the weather gets cold.
Ahead of this winter, lululemon Australia have released a number of new “Wunder Puff” styles — including the best-selling jacket in new shades, a vest, cropped vest and cropped jacket.
But it’s the jacket that’s catching my eye the most right now.
Available in pink, cream, brown and black, the $369 down puffer jacket has a cinchable waist and hem that lets you customise the shape and keep out cold drafts.
Those who own the jacket love that it has a removable hood, as well as zippered hand pockets with a hidden phone sleeve, interior pockets and close-fitting interior cuffs that help hold in heat.
The jacket’s relaxed fit feels roomy and can be worn over larger layers.
Alternatively, you can size down if you prefer a slimmer fit.
