Madonna’s rescheduled Celebration Tour dates in San Francisco were unveiled by her team Tuesday after the global pop icon had to back out from her previously announced shows while she recovered from a bacterial infection.

Now, fans can catch the Material Girl at Chase Center on February 27 and 28, 2024. The shows were originally slated for October 4 and 5, and tickets purchased for those dates will be honored at the new shows. A third San Francisco show that was scheduled for January 15 due to popular demand was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts, in addition to other shows in Tulsa, Nashville, Las Vegas and Phoenix, said a news release from Live Nation.

“Madonna regrets the inconvenience to fans and hopes to make it up to those markets in the future,” the statement read.

Earlier this summer, the pop star was hospitalized in the ICU for several days, per a June 28 statement from her manager Guy Oseary, who said at the time that she was expected to make a full recovery.

“Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers and words of healing and encouragement,” Madonna wrote to fans in a post on Instagram the following month. “My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show … my focus now is my health and and getting stronger and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can.”

The pop star announced the Celebration Tour honoring four decades of her career in a star-studded January video that referenced a scene from her 1991 documentary “Truth or Dare.”

Bob the Drag Queen will be joining Madonna at every show; the musician and comedian, who won the eighth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” recently filled in for Trixie Mattel at Outside Lands in one of the most energetic shows of the festival.
