Mahindra Racing’s driver lineup for Formula E season 10: Ex-F1 driver Nyck De Vries, Mortara join

Mahindra Racing has announced its driver lineup for the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Nyck De Vries, coming fresh from a short-lived stint in Formula 1 and Edoardo Mortara have signed multi-year contracts.
With the duo, Mahindra will aim to reclaim their spot as Championship contenders, following a challenging initiation into the Gen3 regulations in the recently-concluded Season 9.
With four ePrix victories under his belt and multiple podium finishes, Nyck de Vries brings experience and championship-caliber talent to the team.

De Vries’ partner for Season 10, Edoardo Mortara, is another standout in the Formula E arena. The 36-year-old Swiss-Italian driver, who initially gained prominence in the DTM series, has consistently impressed since his Formula E debut in 2017. Mortara has secured multiple wins and podium finishes.
The team also ann will also unveil a new livery for their cars ahead of the season opener in Mexico City on January 13, 2024.
Edoardo Mortara said, “We have a great project in front of us, but I can see a lot of determination and motivation from everyone in the team, and this is so important. I’m sure that, if we put in the necessary amount of work, we will be able to be successful in this very competitive championship in the future.”
His partner in crime Nyck de Vries added “Coming back to Formula E will feel like coming home. I’ve been part of the Formula E family for three seasons, I know everybody very well. I’m looking forward to being back in a familiar environment, and to be back somewhere where ultimately, I’ve always enjoyed my racing.”
De Vries and Mortara will begin their preparations for Season 10 at the pre-season test in Valencia, Spain, scheduled for October 23-27 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
