A man has been charged after one person was killed and three others were left fighting for life in a horror crash on an overpass in northern Wollongong, NSW.
A removalist truck and a BMW collided on Lawrence Hargrave Dr at Thirroul just before 2pm on Friday, February 16.

Two men were ejected from the truck, killing one of the men, aged 43.
The other man, aged 40, was treated by paramedics before being flown in a critical condition to Liverpool Hospital, where he remains after undergoing surgery.
The BMW driver, a 40-year-old woman, had to be freed from her vehicle by NSW Fire and Rescue before she was flown to St George Hospital, where she remains.
The truck driver, a 39-year-old man, was flown to Westmead Hospital where he underwent surgery before being released.
He was arrested by police on Tuesday, March 12, and charged with offences including dangerous driving occasioning death; two counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm; negligent driving occasioning death; and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
