Maria Sole Ferragamo’s So-le Studio has taken its nature-inspired, organic-shaped and eco-minded jewels to Rome, continuing her retail water tests via a pop-up at tony Hotel de Russie.
Running through the end of October, the pop-up space marks the second such retail activation for the brand, which ran a similar outpost at Paris’ Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche department store this spring. The jewelry brand also operates a permanent store inside Milan’s Portait Milano hospitality and retail complex.
The Rome pop-up, designed by the Ferragamo scion’s go-to architectural firm Fondamenta, was built repurposing the Paris installation and translates the organic feel of So-le Studio’s jewels into a distinctive display concept comprising a modular wooden skeleton wrapped in fabric. It is located in the hotel courtyard overlooking the Piazzetta Valadier square.
“I’ve always been enchanted by the beauty and inspiration of Rome’s unique architecture, which is so different from Milan’s. It’s an honor for So-le Studio to be showcased in the prestigious Hotel de Russie,” said Ferragamo, the daughter of Leonardo Ferragamo, non-executive chairman of the Ferragamo fashion company. “This opportunity is not only key for us to expand our brand presence across Italy, beyond Milan, but it also is an amazing time to come meet a sophisticated international clientele of high-net-worth tourists from around the world,” she added.
