Matthew Perry’s death case investigations nears conclusion; ‘multiple people’ could face criminal charges – Details Inside |

The investigation into the tragic death of ‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry, is nearing its conclusion and could soon result in ‘multiple people’ facing criminal charges.
Law enforcement officials, who were investigating the actor’s ketamine use, indicated that many people could face legal trouble, should the U.S. Attorney’s Office decide to press charges.
Perry, who was 54 at the time of his death last October, had been undergoing ketamine infusion therapy. His autopsy report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that he died from the “acute effects of ketamine,” with drowning, coronary artery disease, and the presence of buprenorphine, an opioid, listed as contributing factors. The death was ruled accidental.Perry had been candid about his use of ketamine in his 2022 memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” describing the drug as a treatment for pain and depression, though he admitted it made him feel like he was “dying.”
Although the Los Angeles Police Department, in January, stated that investigation into Perry’s death was complete, TMZ reported in May that federal authorities were probing the actor’s use of ketamine.

In a report to Page Six, Dr. Bankole Johnson speculated that Perry might have illegally obtained ketamine for recreational use, other than for medical purposes.
Matthew Perry was found dead in the hot tub of his Los Angeles mansion after sending his assistant on an errand.
