Speaking of his educational qualification, Sushant Sachdeva completed his class 10th at Rajhans School in Mumbai. He obtained 92.4% in the exam. Meanwhile, he went to Pune to pursue his Class 12th board examination at Army Public School.

Going by the news18 Hindi report, Sachdeva won a gold medal in science from the Australian Academy. He received a fellowship under the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana of the Indian government. He achieved fourth place in the National Science competition and was ranked third in IIT JEE. He even scored well in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Besides IIT JEE, he also secured third place in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).

According to his LinkedIn profile, Sushant Sachdeva completed his B.Tech at IIT Bombay and earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical Computer Science from Princeton University in 2013. In 2011, he interned as a researcher with Microsoft, followed by a research internship at the Toyota Technological Institute in Chicago (TTIC). He later worked as a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley.

At present, Sushant Sachdeva has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto. He also served as a Faculty Affiliate at the Vector Institute. Presently, he has been working as a visiting research scientist at Google since January 24.

Prof. Sachdeva has received numerous awards and fellowships, including the Sloan Research Fellowship (2023), FOCS Best Paper Award (2022), Ontario Early Researcher Award (2022), Google Faculty Research Award (2018), NSERC Discovery Award (2018), and the IITB President of India Gold Medal (2008).
