Who is Sandeep Jain?
Sandeep Jain was born into a middle-class family in Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad. After completing his schooling he took admission in A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University in Lucknow in 2004 and earned his B.Tech degree. He then pursued an M.Tech in Engineering from the prestigious IIT Roorkee.
After completing his education, Jain started working for a leading US-based software firm from 2007 to 2010. He then decided to leave his corporate job to start a career in education. He worked as an Assistant Professor at JP Institute of Information Technology. During his brief tenure as a teacher, Sandeep realised that the lack of resources and quality education affected millions of students in India.

Jain embarked his journey to establish GeeksforGeeks, an ed-tech platform. First launched in 2008, it was a simple blog aimed at helping engineering students to prepare for their placements by breaking down complex computer science concepts into understandable knowledge.
