Meet the son of a farmer, who cleared UPSC exam in 4th attempt with AIR.. 

Ravi Kumar Sihag was selected in his first attempt in 2018 with an AIR of 337, but he was allocated the Indian Defense Accounts Service (IDAS). He cleared the exam again in 2019 with an AIR of 317 and was allocated the Indian Railway Accounts Service.

The Union Public Service Examination (UPSC) tests an aspirant’s knowledge, patience, and wisdom. Lakhs of aspirants appear for the exam each year. Students from various streams take this examination to become officers in the ranks of IAS, IPS, IFS, and other allied services.

Today, we will talk about Ravi Kumar Sihag, who cracked the UPSC exam with an AIR of 18 in 2021. Ravi cleared the exam in his fourth attempt. Interestingly, although he had cleared the exam two times before, it was his last attempt in 2021 that earned him an impressive rank.

He gave his third attempt but failed to clear the main examination. Finally, his hard work paid off in 2021 when he qualified the exam with AIR 18 in 2021. He cleared the examination in Hindi medium. 

Ravi Kumar Sihag is a native of Ganganagar, Rajasthan. He is the son of a farmer. Ravi graduated from Sharda College in Anupgarh. Before preparing for the UPSC examination, Ravi helped his father in the fields.
