Who is Vidushi Singh?

Vidushi was born in Jodhpur city but her family has ties to Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya. As per her LinkedIn profile, she earned her BA Honours degree in Economics from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi in 2021.

Cracked UPSC Without Coaching

After taking a decision to crack the civil service exam, Singh did not rely on any coaching classes for UPSC exam preparation. She studied independently. During her college years, she started reading NCERT and other basic books.

Cracked UPSC In First Attempt

In her First Attempt, Vidushi Singh passed UPSC exam at the young age of 21 and secured 13th rank, choosing economics as her optional subject.

Choosing IFS Over IAS and IPS

Vidushi chose IFS over IAS and IPS to fulfil her Grandparents’ dream. In an interview, she mentioned that becoming a government officer in the Indian Foreign Service was her grandparents’ dream.
