During her school years, Taskeen embarked on her modeling career. She excelled in extracurricular activities. In addition to working as a professional model and actress, she was a basketball champion and a national-level debater. Although she qualified for admission to NIT, she was unable to enroll due to her family’s financial constraints.

However, her talent and intelligence helped her secure titles like Miss Dehradun and Miss Uttarakhand, igniting her ambition to become Miss India. Unfortunately, financial limitations and setbacks forced Taskeen to rethink her aspirations in pursuit of stability.

Undeterred by the challenges, Taskeen set her sights on passing the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination. With steadfast determination, she dedicated herself to intense preparation, eliminating all distractions. A BSc graduate, she secured free coaching for the entrance exam at Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) and relocated to Delhi in 2020. Despite her relentless efforts, Taskeen faced setbacks, failing the prelims three times. It was her fourth attempt that she qualified the examination and became the Indian Revenue Service(IRS) officer.
