Body spray deodorants for men sold at Woolworths have been recalled over fears they could explode.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) reports the cans are defective because they are not adequately constructed.
Jack the Barber Body Spray in the 150ml/90g range, in scents called Rogue, Nomad and Rebel, are at risk of popping or exploding.

“The base of the body spray can is not sufficiently constructed to deal with extreme pressure and could pop or explode,” ACCC said.
“If the base of (the) can pops or explodes due to being exposed to extreme heat or pressure (for example if left in a hot car) this could injure people or damage items in close proximity of the can.”
Batches of the affected scents Rebel (batch numbers 22H311 and 22F281), Rogue (batch numbers 22J181 and 22F301), and Nomad (batch numbers 22I071 and 22F302) should all be disposed of immediately.
The deodorants were sold nationwide at Woolworths Supermarkets between September 18, 2022 to December 20, 2022.
A full refund is available with a receipt at the place of purchase.
Consumers have been asked to safely and immediately dispose of the affected products.
