Global lifestyle brand Miniso has opened its 200th store in the United States, in Santa Monica.

Spanning over 3,700 square feet, the new store, located at the iconic 3rd Street Promenade, represents a key chapter in the brand’s ongoing U.S. expansion efforts.

This year alone, Miniso has opened several new stores in prime locations across the country, including Times Square and Tangram in New York, as well as the American Dream Mall in New Jersey. 

These openings highlight the brand’s strategic focus on establishing a strong and widespread presence in the world’s largest consumer market. It currently boasts locations in over 20 states.

The Santa Monica store’s grand opening featured a limited-time storefront design, spotlighting Disney’s Stitch in a bespoke beach style. Inside, the store offers dedicated zones showcasing Miniso’s collaborations with globally popular IPs, including Sanrio’s Kuromi and Hello Kitty, Minions, BT21, Care Bears, and more. Miniso’s strategic use of popular global IPs has been a driving force behind its success in the U.S. market. 

The grand opening in Santa Monica also featured the debut of the exclusive Disney Stamp blind box series, as well as offered special rewards and giveaways, including limited-edition Santa Monica-themed shopping bags.
