Lisbon’s fashion week will pay tribute to its uniqueness in its upcoming edition. From October 10 to 13, fashion will take center stage in the Portuguese capital with the 63rd installment of ModaLisboa, organized with the support of the Lisbon City Council, and hosted at Pátio da Galé, among other locations.

Lisbon fashion week will be held from October 10 to 13, with a focus on uniqueness – ModaLisboa

Under the theme “ModaLisboa Singular,” this edition celebrates individuality and the deep connection between the city and fashion week, emphasizing the innovation and disruption that form the heritage of both. The new theme was unveiled through a video campaign launched on September 11, produced by Havas Portugal with production by Casper Films.

To kick off this edition, the Associação ModaLisboa plans to open a pop-up store on October 2 at Locke Santa Joana, the new official hotel of the event. The temporary boutique will feature collections from local fashion week designers as well as a selection of national brands and will remain open until October 13.

The event will begin, as usual, with its signature Fast Talks, a series of conversations dedicated to reflection and debate, this time held at the newly opened MUDE Museum of Design and Fashion. These talks will be followed by various initiatives such as the second edition of the beat by be@t project, an innovation program in sustainability for the textile and fashion industry led by Citeve and Bcsd Portugal.

Additionally, the program will be enriched by the open-access Workstation New Media exhibition and the Sangue Novo competition. This year, the platform that awards young talent will showcase the proposals of 10 emerging designers, who will have the opportunity to present their collections on October 11 at Lisbon’s museum dedicated to fashion design.

Finally, the highlight of the edition will be the runway shows. This distinctive edition will feature some recurring names such as Béhen, Buzina, Constança Entrudo, Filipe Augusto, João Magalhães, Luís Buchinho, Luís Carvalho, Valentim Quaresma, Gonçalo Peixoto, Hibu, and DuarteHajime.
