New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani led telecom company Jio is offering affordable plans catering to diverse users at different price ranges.

Now it has come up with a recharge plan which might give a tough competition to its rivals like BSNL, Vodafone, and Airtel. Jio is offering an economical recharge plan priced at just Rs 91. This plan comes with unlimited calling and other features including a validity of 28 days. It provides users with data of 100MB per day + 200 MB extra, a total of 3GB data for the period.

Along with this, the users also get free subscriptions to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud. Pack validity is for 28 days with total data of 3 GB (100 MB/Day + 200 MB) at high speed. It gives option for unlimited calls and 50 SMSes.

“If you are an existing Jio subscriber, you can recharge from MyJio/Jio.com or by visiting your nearest Jio retailer. If you are a new subscriber, then you can join Jio by walking into the nearest Jio Store. You can check the nearest Jio Store here,” says the official statement on the My Jio website.

At the same time, government-owned telecom company BSNL is offering Satellite-to-Device Service which will prove to be a big challenge for private telecom companies such as Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea.

The Satellite-to-Device Service allows seamless mobile connectivity even in areas without mobile towers or signals. This makes BSNL the first telecom company in India to connect mobile phones directly through satellites.

On Friday, November 15, Reliance Jio launched an affordable data voucher priced at just Rs 11, offering 10GB of 4G data for users who have exhausted their daily data limit or need extra data for a short period. It will be valid for only one hour from the time of recharge.
