My Summer Style Guide: Eliseé Browchuk, Master of Experiences at Vogue

From shoes by Loeffler Randal to withstand the scorching August heat to a hydrating tanning oil with a glistening sheen like no other: Let’s go deep with Eliseé’s must-have products for her summer vacation.

What’s your essential summer purchase—and why do you love it?

Having two all-white wedding events in one summer gives you a reason to make a new on-theme purchase. The distinctive cutout design of the Arcina Ori knit Jetta dress caught my eye—so many white dresses either appear too similar or lean towards a bridal style, but this choice felt refreshingly different. (It also happens to be one of the most comfortable gowns in my collection.)

I’ve also been searching for a cherry red summer bag, and when I discovered the Le Grand Bambino at the Jacquemus boutique in Paris, I felt like fate. Worn with jeans for a casual day look or combined with a floral gown for a wedding in Greece, this bag has proven to be incredibly versatile and practical—and yes, I’ll definitely keep sporting this into the fall season.

What’s a beauty product that everybody should get their hands on—and why?

The Chardonnay Oil from the popular suncare brand Vacation combines the glistening pleasures of tanning oil without the guilt of frying your skin. The hydrating serum with SPF 30 is my absolute favorite and fits into any beach bag—so I have no excuse to leave my skin unprotected this summer (especially when the bottle looks this chic).

What’s a place you love to visit—and how do you spend your time there?

Touching the Aegean Sea on Turkey’s southern coast, Bodrum is one of my secret summer spots. Instead of braving rocky or overcrowded sandy beaches, this sprawling city reinvents the luxury of sunbathing with spacious swim platforms that overlook the megayacht-filled harbors. On a recent trip, I enjoyed floating in the salty waters, indulging in delectable Eastern European dishes, and exploring the design-focused Turkish culture like never before.

What’s the one summer shoe you can’t recommend enough?

In my opinion, shoes should be optional all summer. That said, I tend to gravitate towards minimalistic, neutral sandals and kitten heels. On a scorching August day, it’s best to avoid bulky platforms or stilettos and go for a more refined choice like the Loeffler Randall strappy sandals. The gold toe-ring detail adds a touch of playfulness and sophistication that I adore.

What’s one accessory you can’t do without—and why?

I always feel like Goldilocks when looking for the perfect summer hat: Most are too big, many are too floppy, and almost all fail to hold their original structure after just a few wears. From Patmos to Ibiza, I’ve put my Lack of Color raffia hat to the ultimate summer travel test—and it passed with flying colors. Pro tip: Make sure to adjust the sizing with the inner ribbon strap, especially on an extra windy day.
