NEET MDS 2024 Counselling Underway; MCC Round 3 Registration Process Explained

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee(MCC) will commence the round 3 registration process of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery. The MCC NEET MDS 2024 Round 3 Registration will begin at mcc.nic.in from August 12. The payment facility will be available till 03:00 PM on August 18.

According to the official schedule, the MCC Round 3 choice filling will be conducted between August 13 to August 18. The choice locking will begin from 4:00 PM on August 18 to 11:55 PM of August 18. The MCC NEET MDS seat allotment process will be conducted between August 19 to 20.  The MCC NEET MDS 2024 seat allotment result will be announced on August 21. If a candidate freshly registers in round 3 and is not allotted any seat, he/she is eligible to participate in stray/further rounds.

MCC uploads the provisional result initially in every round for verification of the candidates/college/institute based on their choices, merit and eligibility. They will also be given an opportunity to reach out to MCC if there is any discrepancy in the result.If no discrepancy is found or if the discrepancy is rectified, then the final result is uploaded on the MCC website. The provisional result is only indicative in nature and is subject to change. It may not be utilized for any legal purpose. Candidates are advised not to proceed for booking tickets after the declaration of the provisional result. They should wait for the final allotment letter to be issued by the MCC of DGHS. Candidates must report to the allotted medical institute between August 22 t0 28.

Who will not be eligible for third Round of Counseling?

Candidates who have joined seat in Round-1 or Round-2 and State Quota seat (as per the data shared by the States) and not willing to upgrade will not be eligible or do no exit as per scheme.

If the Candidate is satisfied with his/her allotment he/she may approach the allotted college/institute
for completing the admission formalities. Original documents required at the time of joining in allotted Medical/Dental College are as mentioned below:

  • Allotment Letter issued by MCC (Essential document).
  • Admit Card issued by NBE.
  • Result/Rank Letter issued by NBE.
  • Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd & 3rd Professional Examinations.
  • MBBS/ BDS Degree Certificate/ Provisional Certificate. (Essential document).
  • Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 30th June, of this year.
  • Permanent / provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/NMC orDCI/State Medical or Dental Council. Provisional Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases where candidate is undergoing internship and likely to complete the same on or before 31st March of the year of admission.   • High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date or birth. (Essential document)
