Net-A-Porter launches Carolina Herrera capsule, Mr Porter links with Dries Van Noten

YNAP’s two luxury full-price sites —Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter — are continuing to launch major collaborations, with each having just unveiled key collabs for the summer season.

Carolina Herrera x Net-A-Porter

Net-A-Porter has linked up with Carolina Herrera to “transport you from the bustling New York City streets to the languid shores of the Cote D’Azur” with a capsule featuring ready-to-wear, jewellery and accessories.

Key features include a painterly tulip print on “whimsical dresses with cascading ruffles and a delicate off-the-shoulder detail”. Meanwhile a cotton dress hugs “just so while mimicking the ebb and flow of the ocean, with royal blue stripes playing to the colour of the sea”.

Carolina Herrera Creative Director, Wes Gordon said the capsule “emphasises Herrera’s love story with colour, something I’m unabashedly passionate about. The pieces are packable, beautiful, and most importantly, they’re wearable without any sacrifice to elegance and glamour”.

We’re told the wear-now capsule is “the modern woman’s interpretation of high summer: an imagining of vivid sunsets and the alfresco indulgence”.

And it has a high-profile model with Princess Olympia of Greece the focal point.

Meanwhile, Mr Porter has been announced as the exclusive online retail partner for Dries Van Noten’s high summer 2024 men’s collection.

Dries Van Noten for Mr porter

That’s an important development given Van Noten’s decision to step back from the helm of his label so it’s the last chance to access product created by the label’s founder.

Three styles have also been developed exclusively for Mr Porter including a double-breasted cobalt blue linen blend blazer with matching trousers and shorts.

The e-tailer said the collection “explores summer sophistication, with a discrete masculine elegance, celebrating fluidity and lightness”.
