New Delhi: Delhi University on Saturday released the long-awaited academic calendar for first-year undergraduate students for the 2024-2025 session. According to the schedule, classes for the new batch will begin on August 29. The new session, initially set to begin on August 1, was postponed due to a delay in the announcement of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores amidst allegations of irregularities.
As per the news agency PTI report, the academic session for UG courses will end on June 7 next year with the commencement of final exams. The second semester of 2024-2025 UG batch will start from January 27 next year after a winter break of two days.
Practical exams will commence on May 25, which also marks the last day of classes for the session before students break to prepare for their final exams. The dispersal of classes usually takes place in the first week of May. The summer vacation of the students will commence from June 29 and will last till July 20, next year.
