Howrah-Gaya Vande Bharat Express: In a piece of good news for the residents of Gaya and Howrah, a new Vande Bharat Express train between these two major stations will be launched on 15 September. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the trains on Sunday, with regular operations expected to start from 18th September. Additionally, for the commuters of Gaya, a new Vande Bharat Express between Varanasi and Deoghar will also be launched and the train is scheduled to pass through Gaya.
Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Train: Route Details
Every day barring Thursday, the train sets off from Gaya Junction promptly at 3:15 PM, reaching Howrah by 9:05 PM sharp and completing its journey in less than six hours. This train, the Vande Bharat, makes pit stops at a few key stations en route, including Koderma, Parasnath, Dhanbad, Asansol, and Durgapur.

Howrah-Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Train: Ticket Fare
Booking for the new Howrah-Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Train no. 22303 and 22304 has started and the fare for a seat in AC chair car in the new train from Gaya Junction to Howrah Junction is Rs 1300, while for executive class, it’s Rs 2365.
Prime Minister Modi is slated to introduce two new Vande Bharat trains to Bihar on the 15th of September. The day will see the launch of new train services connecting Patna with Tatanagar and Bhagalpur with Howrah. Regular operations of the Bhagalpur-Howrah train are scheduled to kick-off from September 17th. The departure timeline for the Patna-Tatanagar Vande Bharat Express is yet to be disclosed.
