Tata Steel Ltd. experienced a growth, reporting a net profit of Rs 833 crore for the quarter ending in September 2024. This marks a significant turnaround from the Rs 6,194 crore loss reported in the same quarter last year. 

Revenue from operations fell by 3% year-on year to Rs 53,905 crore in the same quarter. 

Tata Steel reported an EBITDA of Rs 6,141 crore for the July-September 2024 quarter. Total expenditure decreased to Rs 52,332 crore in the second quarter, compared to Rs 55,853 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company recorded a revenue drop of 5% year-on-year to Rs 32,399 crore in the second quarter compared to Rs 34,197 crore in the same quarter last year.

On the other hand, Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd. reported a revenue of Rs 1,348 crore for the September 2024 quarter, up from Rs 1,283 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s board has approved the appointment of Pramod Agarwal as an Additional Director (Non-Executive, Independent), effective November 6.
