Norma Delaney has a new gig.
The former chief marketing officer of Johnnie-O has joined Carhartt as vice president of brand marketing and creative. Delaney, who was also global vice president of brand and U.S. marketing at Hoka, has worked at New Balance, Adidas, Sperry Top-sider and Keds over the course of her more than 20-year career.
At Carhartt, the family-owned workwear brand founded in 1889, she will lead the development of the company’s marketing and creative strategies and play a role in shaping its image and brand recognition. She will oversee media planning, brand management, internal and external public relations, digital marketing and marketing analysis. She will report to Susan Hennike, Carhartt’s chief brand officer.

Carhartt is based in Dearborn, Mich., and has more than 3,000 employees worldwide. It is still owned and managed by the descendants of the founder Hamilton Carhartt.
