New Delhi: London-based tech company Nothing is gearing up to launch its third smartphone, the Nothing Phone 3, later this year. The Phone 3 is expected to be a flagship device, building upon the unique design and features of its predecessors.
Here are more details on the upcoming Nothing Phone 3 smartphone, its launch and expected features, and more.
Nothing Phone 3: Expected Launch, Availability In India
While Nothing has not officially announced a launch date, industry sources and leaks suggest the Phone 3 will likely debut in July 2024, following the company’s typical annual release cycle. The phone is expected to be available in India shortly (if not immediately) after the global launch, with a rumored price range of Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000 (roughly $500-$550). India is viewed as one of the most crucial strategic markets for Nothing and Pei emphasized the need to secure market share in India before Apple becomes too dominant. Nothing initially focused on selling products in India, but has now shifted towards local manufacturing. Pei envisions India as a hub for exporting Nothing’s products. “The Indian market will be really important. Right now, the macroeconomics are not good globally, but still in India, we don’t feel a recession. The economy is still growing, there’s a lot of young population, which is very tech-savvy,” said Carl Pei.
