New Delhi: The National Testing Agency(NTA) will declare the subject-wise scorecard, and final answer key for the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) anytime soon.  The UGC NET subject-wise scorecard can be accessed at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/ and nta.ac.in.

In order to download the UGC NET result and UGC NET final answer key, a registered student must enter his/her application number and date of birth. This year, the UGC NET examination was held from August 21 to September 5, 2024, for 83 subjects at different cities across the country.  Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared.

UGC NET 2024 Result: NTA UGC NET Final Scorecard expected soon; How to check?

    1. Visit the official website of NTA website https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
    2. Click ‘Display of Final Answer Key(s) and Result of UGC – NET June 2024 (Rescheduled) Examination.
    3. Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth.
    4. Enter the security pin as displayed and submit.
    5. Your UGC NET Result will appear on the screen. Download and save a copy of it for future reference.

  • (a) Each question carries 02 (two) marks.
  • (b) For each correct response, candidate will get 02 (two) marks.
  • (c) There is no negative marking for incorrect response.
  • (d) No marks will be given for questions un-answered/un-attempted/marked for Review.
  • (e) To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option.
  • (f) If a question is found to be incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers would be given the credit.
  • (g) If a question is found to be incorrect and the Question is dropped, then two marks (+2) will be awarded to only to those candidates who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error. Since, there is no negative marking, candidate needs to choose one most appropriate option as correct answer.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a Test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges.The UGC-NET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode w.e.f. December 2018 onwards.
