An Obama administration insider says Kamala Harris would likely be working the phones right up to the final hours of election day.
Peter Loge, who worked for former president Obama as a senior adviser to the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, revealed the Democrat presidential candidate would be likely hitting the phones in a bid to get all her potential voters out to cast their ballots.
On Wednesday, Loge joined Nat Barr in front of the US Capitol building, where the political insider spoke about what it was like to be working in a huge presidential campaign.

“The polls are about to close. What is happening in each of the camps right now?” Barr asked.
“It’s a weird time to be in campaign headquarters. If you’re a senior staffer you have done everything you can do, maybe phone calls, ordering pizza,” Loge said.
“You are waiting. If you can make phone calls you make phone calls. You are waiting for results. It’s a weird feeling. You are running on adrenalin, pizza. Nothing you can do. You have to wait it out.”
Turning her attention to Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris, Barr then asked: “What does the candidate do after these weeks?
“By all accounts, the vice president is still making calls, calling people.”
“Who is she calling?”
“Unlikely voters … Vice President Harris would be getting out to call (them to) vote … she’s going through the list.”
“Did Obama do that? Do they pick up the phone and call people?” Barr asked.
“I wouldn’t be surprised. You want to make every last phone call. You don’t want to lose by one vote and say I shouldn’t have had the burger I should have made the phone call,” Loge said.
Loge then said he expected Harris to win the election.
“I don’t think Trump has a path … a lot of the polling models are underestimating women voters, I think.”
