Panto is as much a part of festive tradition as the King’s speech or decking the halls and each year audiences are spoiled for choice as a slew of productions spring up around the country.
With so much on offer producers invariably look for a big name to lead their cast and potentially give their panto the edge over so many others. This offers a fantastic opportunity for fans to see some of their favourite stars in a whole new light as they don their tights and tread the boards for several weeks.
Soap stars, pop stars and reality stars are panto staples and many favourites are taking to stages countrywide this year. There is literally something for everybody with family orietated shows, adult themed pantos and shows aimed specifically at a younger audience.
There are also a wealth of well known faces lending their names to various productions all for the sake of making your season just that little bit more magical.
