Ola Electrifies MotoGP: Showcases Diamondhead and more electric motorcycles

Ola Electric, India’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer, showcased its upcoming Diamondhead, Adventure, Cruiser, and Roadster electric motorcycle concepts at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) during the inaugural edition of MotoGP Bharat on September 22-24, 2023. The concepts were on display at Ola’s pavilion in the Fanzone.
The Ola Diamondhead is a futuristic-looking bike with a large ‘diamond-shaped’. Front panel with sleek LED headlights. It has an aggressive front with full fairing, sportic a unique design we haven’t seen so far. It also gets disc brakes on both wheels. This will be the company’s flagship model.

The Ola Adventure is an off-road electric motorcycle with a tall stance and long-travel suspension. It has a rugged design with features like knuckle guards. There were also two other products showcased namely, the Roadster and the Cruiser. The company says that with the former, it has done away with the ‘conventional’ motorcycle design, while the latter gets a ‘floating’ design running upper body to the rear section of the bike.
Ola Electric has not yet announced any details about the technical specifications or launch dates of its electric motorcycle concepts. However, the company has said that it plans to launch its first electric motorcycle in India by the end of 2024.
Ola Electric has a partnership with the Buddh International Circuit in which it will provide 150 S1 electric scooters for on-ground support activities during the MotoGP Bharat.
