Hannah Waddingham sings during the In Memoriam at the BAFTAs

Over the weekend, the country’s finest theatre performers, artists, and technicians arrived at London’s Royal Albert Hall to watch the sensational Hannah Waddingham present the Olivier Awards 2024.

The annual event announced the winners of this year’s awards, including Best New Play, Best Revival, and Best Actor and Actress gongs.

The event itself was a who’s who of incredibly talented people, including the cast of Operation Mincemeat, Sarah Snook, and Nicole Scherzinger.

The nominations for the awards were first confirmed back in March, and the fight was on for Hollywood stars to take on local heroes.

There were some surprises along the way, with Mark Gatiss taking his gong by a landslide, as well as Jamie Lloyd taking home the Best Director award. B
