Recently, Indian shooter Manu Bhaker was honoured at Lady Shri Ram College for her achievements in sports. The event celebrated her journey and dedication. Students, faculty, and sports fans gathered to hear her inspiring story. Bhaker spoke about the challenges she faced and the hard work needed to succeed in her sport.
Bhaker shared how she was unsure about joining Lady Shri Ram College due to its high academic standards. Her coach, Jaspal Sir, encouraged her to pursue her studies there. Despite initial doubts, she decided to join after learning more about the college. She met Meenakshi Ma’am at an event at the Karni Singh Shooting Range. Bhaker expressed her desire to study at the college, even though she was worried about balancing studies and sports. She was thrilled when she got accepted.
Balancing sports and studies was tough for Bhaker. She tried her best to attend classes between training sessions. Once, a teacher did not allow her into class because she was late after training. This taught her the importance of giving her best in every moment.
