There are 18 gold medals up for grabs on day 10 at the 2024 Olympic Games. We look at where those medals will be won and which Brits will be in action on Monday.

Team GB athletes and medal hopes

Keely Hodgkinson is one of the biggest stars of Team GB’s athletics team and is hoping to upgrade from silver in Tokyo to gold in Paris when she runs in the women’s 800m final (8.45pm).

Earlier in the evening, Dina Asher-Smith, Darryl Neita and Bianca Williams will contest the women’s 200m semi-finals (7.45pm).

Zharnel Hughes will be competing in the men’s 200m heats at 6.55pm, while Laviai Nielsen, Victoria Ohuruogu and Amber Anning are in action in the women’s 400m heats at 10.55am. Holly Bradshaw and Molly Caudery are in pole vault qualifying from 9.40am.

Team GB have already enjoyed success in triathlon in Paris and will be hoping that Beth Potter, Alex Yee and Sam Dickinson can deliver gold in the mixed relay event from 7am. Tests were taken on the quality of the River Seine’s water on Sunday evening and organisers said the event would go ahead as planned.

Track cycling begins in the velodrome on Monday and Team GB’s women’s team sprint trio of Emma Finucane, Katy Marchant and Sophie Capewell could claim a first British medal in the event.

The kayak cross reaches its conclusion with Team GB targeting medals in both the men’s and women’s competitions. World champion Kimberley Woods and Mallory Franklin are both through to the quarter-finals, which start at 2.30pm, while Joe Clarke, the men’s kayak cross world champion, is in the quarter-finals from 2.52pm.

Gymnast Joe Fraser will be looking to secure another medal for Team GB when he competes in the men’s parallel bars final from 10.45am, while Team GB’s women’s hockey team will face Netherlands in their quarter-final at 4.30pm

Divers Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and Lois Toulson compete in the individual 10m diving from 10am, Hamish McArthur and Toby Roberts start their sport climbing campaigns from 9am and Team GB’s equestrian jumpers will go in individual qualifying.

Away from Team GB, Monday is set to be Simone Biles’ final day at the Olympics as she takes part in the beam final and the floor final. Will she add to her gold medal collection?

And the men’s football’s semi-finals take place with Morocco facing Spain at 5pm and hosts France taking on Egypt at 8pm.

  • 3.43pm – Canoe Slalom – women’s kayak cross (Team GB hope: Kimberley Woods and Mallory Franklin)
  • 3.48pm – Canoe Slalom – men’s kayak cross (Team GB hope: Joe Clarke)
  • 6pm – Athletics – men’s pole vault
  • 6.46pm – Track cycling – women’s team sprint (Team GB hope: Sophie Capewell, Emma Finuance, Katy Marchant)
  • 7.30pm – Athletics – women’s discus
  • 8.15pm – Athletics – women’s 5000m
  • 8.45pm – Athletics – women’s 800m (Team GB hope: Keely Hodgkinson)
  • 9pm – Basketball – women’s 3 x 3 final
  • 9.30pm – Basketball – men’s 3 x 3 final
