As part of its ongoing commitment to sports and leisure activities, Oysho, the Inditex group’s brand, is enhancing its portfolio with various associations aimed at promoting an active lifestyle and encouraging customers to maximize their use of its fashion and accessory offerings. The brand has recently unveiled its new project related to running.
Focusing on this strategic objective, Oysho has become the official sponsor of a selection of fitness studios specializing in yoga, pilates reformer, barre, and cycling in countries such as Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Poland, and Mexico. Through this collaboration, Oysho will provide sportswear and equipment to all trainers at the participating centers, in addition to offering free events and classes at these facilities.
The training schedule, catering to different levels, will be available in the “Train with us” section of the brand’s website, as well as on its Oysho Training app, launched in 2022 and currently available in 25 countries worldwide. The app also offers sessions in fitness, yoga, and running.
Moreover, as part of its commitment to the sports world, the brand will launch its “Oysho Running Club” this July. Through this initiative, with activations in Madrid, Barcelona, and A Coruña, Oysho will organize sessions providing advice on appropriate running attire, race preparation, and recovery techniques for runners. Additionally, the project will offer athletes the opportunity to become part of a community of runners of all levels.
These initiatives are part of Oysho’s growth plan through collaborations with various sports events such as Wanderlust Italy, the Queens League women’s football championship, and Spain’s leading amateur women’s padel circuit, Women Padel.
Furthermore, the brand has supported projects linked to the digital world, such as its collaboration with the Spanish platform Wikiloc, which offers outdoor routes worldwide, and the Playtomic padel app in Spain. Oysho has also launched specific collections for activities such as running, boxing, mountain sports, and padel.
Founded in 2001 and headquartered in the Barcelona municipality of Tordera, Oysho is part of the Inditex group’s portfolio, which includes brands like Zara, Zara Home, Pull&Bear, Lefties, Stradivarius, Massimo Dutti, and Bershka.
By the end of 2023, Oysho operated a commercial network of 439 points of sale, including both company-managed stores and franchises, and had a presence in approximately 220 markets through its online store. Economically, the brand concluded its 2023 fiscal year with net sales of 744 million euros, reflecting a 19% increase over the previous year.
