Paresh Rawal makes a shocking confession about ‘Hera Pheri 4’; reveals Kartik Aaryan was not playing Akshay Kumar’s role | Hindi Movie News

Kartik Aaryan, who was earlier roped in for ‘Hera Pheri 4‘, received a huge backlash as fans were not ready to accept Kartik stepping into Akshay Kumar’s shoes in the franchise.
Now, Paresh Rawalhas made a shocking revelation about the next instalment of ‘Hera Pheri’. He told News18 that Kartik Aaryan had a different role in the film. He wasn’t supposed to play Raju, who was played by Akshay Kumar in the first two films. He added that Kartik’s character wasn’t cut from the same cloth asRaju and was made with a different fabric.

Elaborating further, the veteran actor added that Kartik’s role was different and had a different kind of energy than Raju. The premise of his character was different. According to him, one shouldn’t be afraid of backlashes as once people watch a film, they forget all the backlashes.

Earlier, Rawal had mentioned that he was ‘sick and tired’ of the memes and reels made out of Baburao Apte, his character in ‘Hera Pheri’. According to him, there was a sense of over-confidence in him and that shouldn’t have happened. He also added that Suniel Shetty was earnest and honest and carried the legacy of Shyam in an amazing way. He also went on to say that characters and premise like ‘Hera Pheri’ come our way very rarely.

According to Paresh, one should work around it very diligently and treat it with a lot of nazakat. One shouldn’t make it impure. He confessed that he realised his mistake when he was dubbing for ‘Phir Hera Pheri’.
After the backlash over Kartik’s casting, the makers dropped the actor and cast its original actors in the upcoming instalment. The film will star Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty in lead roles. The makers have also roped in Sanjay Dutt for a special role in the film.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Paresh will next be seen in ‘Dream Girl 2’ which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in lead roles. The film will hit the theatres on August 25, 2023.
