Our ‘Naina’ is actually a treat to the eyes as she is all set to walk on the red carpet of the 77th edition of the International Film Festival donning a dreamy bridal gown embellished with pearls and white beads all over.
Preity Zinta is here present the Pierre Angenieux ExcelLens in Cinematography honour to Santosh Sivan. Zinta’s romantic drama Dil Se (1998) was with Santosh as the cinematographer. She has once again joined hands with him for Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming period drama Lahore 1947.

Speaking with DD at Cannes, she said, “It is amazing; we have a karmic connection. Now that I feel like taking 2 in my life, I have come back into movies with ‘Lahore 1947’ with Santosh. I got this opportunity to present this amazing, prestigious award to Santosh. BTW, he is not the first Indian, but the first Asian, to be given this award. So I feel great, and I am happy it’s me.”
