The next batch of PS Plus games are about to be revealed by Sony. Assuming the line-up isn’t leaked ahead of schedule, the December 2023 free PS4 and PS5 games will be officially unveiled at 4.30pm GMT UK time on the afternoon of November 29. The PlayStation Plus games will be available to download and play less than a week later on the morning of December 5. In the run up to the big reveal, fans have been having fun predicting the potential line-up.
In an entertaining thread over on Reddit, multiple fans believe Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core will be available in December.
Fans think the release of Crisis Core on PS Plus is guaranteed to take place before the launch of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth next February.
Other games with multiple votes include action game Rollerdrome, as well as EA racing game Need for Speed Unbound.
The most recent Need for Speed combines stylish visuals with the same street racing action that fans have come to expect.
Elsewhere, some fans believe LEGO Star Wars will make an appearance, alongside titles such as Sifu, GTA Trilogy, Captain Tsubasa, Cuphead, Borderlands 3, BioShock Collection, and Nier Automata.
Other popular games include Hades, which routinely appears on the PS Plus predictions thread.
The roguelike action game sees players attempt to escape an ever-changing underworld, earning new powers and stat boosts along the way.
There are also picks for Dicey Dungeons, Riders Republic, Plague Tale Requiem, Carrion, The Pathless, Little Nightmares 2, Hitman, Forspoken, Outer Wilds, Powerwash Simulator, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Immortals of Aveum.
Needless to say, fans will be hoping the game selection is an improvement on the November 2023 line-up.
Available until the morning of December 5, the current batch of PS4 and PS5 games include Mafia 2: Definitive Edition, Aliens Fireteam and Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
