PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the final batch of Essential games for 2024.
The free PS4 and PS5 games for December will be revealed at 4.30pm UK time on November 27. The new games will be available to download and play the following week, on the morning of December 3.
December’s PS Plus Essentials will replace the current line-up of games, which include Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, Ghostwire Tokyo and Death Note Killer Within.
While November’s line-up isn’t too bad, subscribers will be hoping for something pretty special to see the year out in style.
If the monthly PS Plus predictions are anything to go by, then fans think Resident Evill Village could be just the ticket.
In the regular predictions thread on Reddit, multiple users believe Resident Evil Village could finally make an appearance as part of the PS Plus Essentials line-up.
With rumours that Capcom is working on multiple new Resident Evil games, including a brand new sequel, making Village available on PS Plus would help create a buzz for 2025.
Other games with multiple predictions include Terminator Resistance, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Suicide Squad, as well as the usual suspects such as Viewfinder, Sonic Frontiers, Forspoken, Hades and Atomic Heart.
Dating all the way back to the early days of PS Plus, you also have the customary pick of The Order 1886. Maybe one day.
If Sony really wants to give subscribers bang for their buck, then first-party releases like God of War Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7 and Spider-Man 2 would definitely be welcome.
Daily Express will update this article with the full list of new PS Plus games when Sony makes the announcement on November 27. Likewise, keep checking back for any leaks and last-minute rumours ahead of the big reveal.

Extra and Premium provide additional benefits, such as access to a huge library of PS4, PS5 and retro games.
Existing PS Plus subscribers can also make savings, but only when upgrading to the higher tier.
