PS Plus Extra and Premium April 2024 games reveal date, time, line-up, leaks, predictions | Gaming | Entertainment

If you’re a PS Plus Extra and Premium subscriber, then the good news is that Sony is about to unveil the next batch of games for PS4 and PS5. The April 2024 PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games line-up will be officially revealed at 4.30pm BST UK time on the afternoon of April 10. The vast majority of the games will be available to download and play on the morning of April 16, although one title (more on that later) will join the line-up on April 23. It looks like quite a few games will also be leaving PS Plus in April, including SoulCalibur 6 and Everspace. While there are currently no leaks to speak of, Sony has already announced two of the games coming to PS Plus Extra in April.

It all starts with 2023 surprise hit Dave the Diver, which will come to PlayStation Plus Extra as a day-one release.

The game tasks players with diving for fish and other treasures during the day, and running a sushi restaurant at night.

It’s a unique and somewhat relaxing game, and one with a whopping 90% rating on Metacritic.

Perhaps in a bid to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription, Sony is giving PS Plus Extra subscribers another day-one release, as Tales of Kenzera: ZAU joins the service on April 23.

“Embark on a poignant single-player story shaped by actor Abubakar Salim’s own experience with grief, discovering how love gives us the courage to press on after devastating loss,” reads the official description.

“Wield powers from the Sun and the Moon to defeat restless spirits in rhythmic combat and become a worthy Nganga: a spiritual healer.

“Discover a rich universe with untold lore of chaos & order and journey through mystical 2.5D realms awash with colour and depth, emboldened by multi-award-winning composer Nainita Desai’s enchanting original score.”

Ahead of the announcement of the PS Plus Extra games for April, fans have been attempting to predict the line-up over on Reddit.

There are a few picks for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, which seems like a solid pick given its status as a first-party exclusive.

Likewise, God of War Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7 and Spider-Man 2 could also join the line-up, although the latter seems unlikely.

Other predicted games include Dead Island 2, Hades, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Sonic Frontiers.

Daily Express will update this story with the Extra and Premium games when they are announced on April 10.
