A big batch of brand new PS Plus Extra and Premium games are about to be released by Sony. The next wave of PlayStation Plus games will be available to download and install on October 15. While there’s no official release time, the games should be playable at around 11am BST for subscribers living in the UK. With Halloween creeping up fast, the PS Plus line-up features one or two spooky surprises, including zombie action game Dead Island 2, as well as The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me and Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed. Despite spending years in development hell, Dead Island 2 is unquestionably the pick of the bunch, pitting players against hordes of undead in a zombie-ravaged Los Angeles.

Other new PS4 and PS5 titles coming to PS Plus include Two Point Campus, which is a SEGA strategy game where you get to run your own university.
Two Point Campus couldn’t have joined PS Plus at a better time, as SEGA prepares to release a sequel in 2025. Titled Two Point Museum, the next game in the series tasks players with creating and running a museum, which includes finding artefacts to display and coming up with new ways to entice customers.
Two Point Campus is joined by superb 2D platforming game Gris, as well as the iconic point and click adventure game Return to Monkey Island.
That’s on top of Firefighting Simulator The Squad, Overpass 2, Tour de France 2023 and the returning Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
A survival horror classic is coming to PS Plus Premium, as the previously announced Dino Crisis joins the upper-tier Sony subscription service.
Directed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, Dino Crisis features similar gameplay to the Capcom classic, only instead of zombies, players are pitted against deadly dinosaurs.
PSVR 2 game The Last Clockwinder also joins PS Plus Premium, alongside Siren and R-Type Dimensions EX.
Sadly, however, it’s not all good news, because multiple games will be leaving PlayStation Plus on the morning of October 15.
Indeed, consider this your last chance to play the likes of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, as well as both Dragon Quest Builders games, plus Dragon Quest Heroes and its sequel.
Ahead of the game and all DLC being delisted at the end of the month, LittleBigPlanet 3 is also leaving PS Plus, alongside Gotham Knights, The Evil Within and Ultra Street Fighter IV.
That’s on top of Toukiden Kiwami, Gungrave Gore and R Type Dimensions.
